Making the Hazelnut Chocolate Walnut Cake
This is a super easy and quick recipe that you can make for any special occasion within 30 minutes. A super delicious and moist cake that will sure please your taste buds ;).
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 Cup Full Fat Coconut Milk
2/3 Cup of Coconut Butter Ghee (you can substitute half butter and half coconut oil)
1/2 Cup Coconut Sugar
1/2 Cup Dark Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Almond Flour
2/3 Cup Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 Cup Chopped Raw Walnuts
Process:
1. Preheat Oven to 350F
2. Grease and line a round 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper
3. In a large mixing bowel, use a whisk and mix Eggs, Coconut Milk, Coconut Sugar, Sea Salt, and Vanilla Extract
4. Set up a double boiler with a small pot and bowel. Melt the Coconut Butter Ghee with the Cocoa Powder and Justin’s Hazelnut Butter
5. Once the Chocolate mixture is evenly melted and combined set remove from heat.
6. Add the Almond Flour and Baking Soda into the egg mixture then pour in the Chocolate mixture and combine all the ingredients until evenly combined.
7. Add a cup of Chopped Walnuts and pour mixture into the cake pan
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350F
