Recipe #78 | Crispy Smashed Potatoes

Making the Crispy Smashed Potatoes

This side dish is so amazingly delicious and can be made with or without the cheese 😉 For an added gourmet touch drizzle some truffle oil just before serving.

 

Ingredients:

8-10 Baby Red Potatoes
Olive Oil
Fresh Rosemary
Fresh Grated Grana Padano Cheese
Fresh Grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
Dried oregano
Sea Salt
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Dried Garlic Powder

 

Process:

1.Steam Whole Potatoes until ready about 20 minutes
2. Preheat Oven to 450F
3. Line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper
4. Place cooked potatoes on baking sheet and gently smash the potatoes with a potato masher or large fork
5. Drizzle Olive Oil
6. Season with Garlic Powder, Sea Salt and Black Pepper
7. Sprinkle Chopped Fresh Rosemary and Cheese
8. Bake in Oven for 20-30 minutes or until browned and crispy
9. Serve as a side to a delicious grilled steak
