Recipe #88 | Slow Roasted Big Beef Ribs

Making the Slow Roasted Big Beef Ribs

These ribs are juicy tender and delicious! With a little bit of time you can create an incredible dinner that will please your caveman craving for meat on the bone 😉 You will need a heavy cast iron pot with a lid for this recipe. Ask your local butcher for the biggest beef ribs they have and serve them up with some Bone Marrow Mashed Potatoes.

 

Ingredients:

3lbs Big Beef Ribs (Grassfed)
1 large yellow onion
3 Celery Stalks
1 whole garlic bulb (about 8 cloves)
3 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary
2 Dried Bay Leafs
2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Smoked Paprika
Dried Oregano
Dried Sage
Cumin
Fenugreek Powder

 

Process:

1.Preheat Oven to 450F
2. Chop Onions and Celery into 3/4 inch pieces and add to a large heavy cast iron pot
3. Add Whole Garlic Cloves and Rosemary
4. Place meat on top of the onions and pour Apple Cider Vinegar over the meat
5. Drizzle meat with olive oil then generously season both sides of the meat
6. Place the meat into the oven at 450F with no lid and allow to cook for 20 minutes
7. Place lid on and turn heat down to 275F
8. Allow to cook for 2 hours with the lid on
9. Take out of the oven and allow to rest for at least 20 minutes before serving
