Making The Apple Butter Bison And Beef Mini Loafs

These Mimi Loafs are so moist and delicious and packed with nutrition! The Sweet Apple Butter helps make these mini loafs moist and add a touch of sweetness. You can find Apple Butter in your local organic store make sure the only ingredient is Organic Apples. Eat this with a simple green salad or serve them slathered in tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

1lb Ground Bison
1lb Ground Grass Fed Beef Extra Lean
4 Tbsp Apple Butter
1 Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
3 Slices Ginger
Handful Fresh Basil
Handful Fresh Italian Parsley
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Ground Chia Seeds
1/4 Cup Ground Flax Seeds

Seasonings:

Sea Salt
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
1 tsp Fenugreek
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Sweet Paprika
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Process:

1. Pre-heat Oven at 450F
2. Clean Onion, Garlic, Ginger Fresh Basil and fresh Parsley and place into a Food Processor
3. Mix all ingredients with the Food Processor until finely chopped
4. Add Egg, Apple Butter, Chia Seeds and Flax Seeds and all the Seasonings
5. Mix all ingredients until finely mixed almost a Puree
6. Place the Beef and Bison into a large mixing bowl and add the vegetable mixture
7. Mix with hands and fill loaf pan
8. Bake in Oven for 25-30 minutes at 450F
9. Once cooked remove allow to cool for a few minutes then remove from the pan and set onto a cooling rack. There may be some moisture in the pan and you don’t want the loafs to get soggy.
