Recipe #87 | Bone Marrow Mashed Potatoes

Making the Bone Marrow Mashed Potatoes

These potatoes are so delicious and an amazing side dish to any slow cooked meat. Cooked some extra bones then you can make some Bone Broth too. I like to use a combination of sweet potatoes and regular potatoes for this recipe you can use any potato your prefer it is all delicious!

 

Ingredients:

2 Small White Sweet Potatoes
5 Small Baby Red Potatoes
4 Small Baby Yellow Potatoes
3 Grassfed Beef Bone Marrow Bones
1 Whole Garlic
Olive Oil
Black Pepper
Sea Salt
Dried Oregano
Smoked Paprika
Turmeric

 

Process:

1. Preheat oven to 450F
2. In Roasting pan or dish place bones and whole garlic cloves
3. drizzle olive oil and season the bones
5. Roast in the oven at 450F for 20mins
6. Turn oven down to 300F and allow bones to slow cook for 1.5 hours
7. While the bones are roasting clean and peel potatoes
8. Steam potatoes until tender
9. Spoon about 3-4 teaspoons of the Bone Marrow into the cooked potatoes add garlic, olive oil and sea salt then mash and whip the potatoes
10. Serve with your favorite main dish
