Recipe #12 | Sweet Basil And Kale Breakfast Salad

Making The Sweet Basil And Kale Breakfast Salad

Kale and Basil make the perfect combo. The sweetness from the basil and peppery kale together create a symphony of delish that you have to taste!

Ingredients:

1 large Kale Leaf
4 Large Basil Leafs
1 Small Campari Tomato or 1/2 tomato
1/4 orange sweet pepper or any color sweet pepper
2 Slices Bacon
1 Egg
1.5 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

 

Seasonings:

Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Oregano
Paprika

 

Process:

1. Finely chop Kale and Basil
2. Dice Peppers and Tomatoes then combine with Kale mixture
3. Mix in Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, and Oregano
4. Cook bacon and set aside
5. Fry an Egg over-easy or poached is good too
6. Assemble your masterpiece; place salad in middle of plate and top with bacon then egg
7. Add more Salt,Pepper, Paprika, and Oregano to top it all off and eat!
